KFTD’s Strategy to Prevent Corruption and Avoid Conflicts of Interest

PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD) as part of Kimia Farma Group is committed to upholding high standards in its business activities. As part of its long-term strategy, the corporation aims to build corporate practices that are devoid of corruption and conflicts of interest. In order to achieve this, KFTD works with legal authorities to ensure these ethical standards are consistently applied.

Preventing Corruption and Conflicts of Interest through LHKPN

Kimia Farma Group established a partnership with the Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi/KPK) on February 12, 2024, to launch the LHKPN program in order to promote corporate integrity. LHKPN, or state official wealth report, is a comprehensive asset reporting program implemented in all entities of Kimia Farma Group, including PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD)

The LHKPN program reflects KFTD’s commitment to transparency throughout all business areas. By regularly reporting assets, the LHKPN program helps in the identification of any gratuity and bribe attempts. This program applies to all employees, including directors, board of commissioners, and other management levels.

In practice, KFTD ensures timely asset reporting by following correct official channels and conducting extensive analytical procedures. KFTD prioritizes LHKPN as a critical strategy for preventing conflicts of interest, corruption, collusion, and nepotism.

LHKPN as a Manifestation of GCG

LHKPN is a critical component of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation in KFTD. The company consistently applies GCG principles to build trust among the shareholders and public. Therefore, LHKPN aligns with the anti-gratuity program and GCG initiatives promoted by Kimia Farma Group.

In practice, all of Kimia Farma Group Including Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD) management requires all workers to disclose any type of gratuity or gift through designated email and special forms. A specialized team then performs the identification of these reports, assessing whether the received gift is classified as a gratuity. If not, the gift is returned to the reporter.

Through the integration of GCG principles in the LHKPN program, KFTD ensures the integrity, reputation, and positive corporate values they strongly uphold. By collaborating with the KPK and other legal bodies, PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution is committed to creating a clean, corruption-free working environment that continuously adheres to the principles of GCG.
